Background: The Matariki Hautapu ceremony marks the end of the previous year and the beginning of the new year (Matariki, te matahi o te tau).

Mission: Turua Designs owners; Paneera and Amy, left behind incarceration and now repurpose wood offcuts from building sites to create custom playgrounds for their family income.

Vision: They hope to afford carving tools for Paneera, allowing him to carve here and supplement their livelihood.
