Start date with the Generator: February 2023 Teniqua's experience and expertise that has brought her to the Generator: After my (now)husband and I became teen parents at 17&18, this motivated me to become the best version of myself and prove that becoming a teen parent won't stop us from doing anything we want to achieve in life. I've had my own Cake & baking business for the last 10 years which started from growing up in a big whānau as the eldest of 10 tamariki and I wanted to give my daughter everything I didn’t have growing up. My love language is acts of service and I decided to express my love to her by making her an awesome birthday cake every year. Little did I know it would be the start of a hobby and side hustle now turned into my business - Teniqua Kekery. I also make custom cake toppers for all my cakes and for other cake bakers. The Generator has made my dreams come true and I'm here to help you bring your dreams to a reality. I have a professional Diploma in Beauty Therapy. I also have a Certificate in Health and Wellness after being a kaiāwhina/support worker for both of my grandmother's and one of my sisters for many years. I am very passionate in helping others become the best versions of themselves and very blessed to provide that opportunity through the Generator. Hobbie or fun facts about Teniqua: My husband and I have the same birthday, I'm a year older. If that wasn't crazy enough, we also got married on our birthday because the date was cool that year 13/12/11 🤣. I am the eldest of 10 children (same parents by the way lol). I was on The Great Kiwi Bake Off season 3 in 2021 (It is no way a reflection of my baking in real life lol). I love the gym and lifting heavy weights.
